Memoirs of Creme Glacee

It was a lovely monsoon evening and the roads were washed neat by the rains and the leaves plopped water droplets.
The sultry humid climate of the city had given way to  cool , refreshing cheerful rains.

So the man and the young lady set out with the whole mission of enjoying the splendour left behind by the rains.
The lady clutched the man's fingers . She looked up and his towering height over her made her feel secure.

The man was peculiarly thin, tall and one of the fair gentlemen the lady had come across in her life.
They walked talking aimlessly and at the end of the road came to an ice cream vendor.

The thought of cream in such a climate thrilled the lady whilst the man smiled mischievously .
He was prohibited from the life's little wonder on  account of being a diabetic.

The man asked the lady if she would want some cream to which the young lady innocently replied "I would have if you too have with me "...
He was taken aback at this reply as he expected her to jump at the very idea of eating cream. The man and his little companion enjoyed an ice cream each.

The man bought few cartons of ice cream and told the 'young chirping cherub' she could have it on the following days. She smiled happily and let her thoughts wonder on how and when she would eat them. The man perfectly understood her thoughts and they continued silently thereon.

On nearing the gates of the house, the man asked the young lady  not to mention his having cream to the others .The gal smiled innocently and said she would not do so.
When all the cream bought was finished by the others at home within seconds of their arrival , the man expected a sullen , dull face of the girl but to his surprise she came running and nudged him saying "Lets go for a walk everyday Grandpa"..
