A year had passed.
Mia was now working with Shimactello Corporation that was a leading telecom solutions provider. She enjoyed her work as it meant meeting new people everyday and being part of the ever-changing communications world.
Asha had gone to pursue her Masters in the USA and Mia missed her but on the flip side Asha was her best Skype buddy .
Mia while working in the NGO attended couple of interviews pertaining to her education . Her dream was to work for a telecom provider and it materialized when she joined Shimactello . She had a humble start as a junior consultant and her baby steps in the corporate ladder had now taken to her as a senior consultant level .
She was very naive to the random changes that kept happening around her. She would often sip her coffee and think of the lovely moments with Ransh but never did she allow it to hinder her work or its quality.She was known to her fellow colleagues as too fast and furious in finishing work. There was a method in her madness but . Some found her intriguing while some brushed her off as too hot headed.
Though sometimes some men at her workplace expressed interest in her she would brush them off as her previous failure with Ransh would remind her that no man was good for her and at the same time she could not let go of her thoughts about Ransh either.
Two years in the corporate field and Mia knew the ropes better now. She handled people better but still the cold feeling of loneliness and pressure did give her creeps sometimes.
In the evenings after returning from work Mia favored seeing her students in NGO. The striking contrast between the children's life and the one she was where she struck balance between reality and a fantasy world.
Mondays were hard for her as it meant that she was going to a place she wasn't sure if she loved or hated. It was her work place and it meant a lot to her. Friends, Betrayal, Hard-work , Truth, Lies and much more - she could never make her mind up on leaving Shimactello as she felt it was her dream to be working for the company but in some corner of her heart knew that every good thing had to come to an end .
Mia would sometimes feel bad that she never could let go of her first love but there was nothing better she could do about it either.
Something deep within stopped her from thinking beyond Ransh.

A year more had passed .
It was January of 2013 and in another corner of the world there was Ransh - the handsome six footer with his sketches in his hands , trying to jot the plan for the next concrete daemon . He had secured job with the Indian Government and was summoned on various projects including dams, IT parks and more.
In one such assignments Ransh met Jose - an architect by profession .Jose and he worked on building an IT park in the remote cities in Orissa. Jose and Ransh seemed to gel well from their very first meet. They boozed, enjoyed late night drives in the forested areas, were crazy about bikes and would often discuss movies and music.Their immaturity was the basis of their thick friendship.
Nine months had passed and it was September and Jose realized that Ransh and he were going to different places because of their work. Jose was to leave to the USA for his next architectural venture and Ransh was going to be in Orissa until the project finished.
Jose wished to take Ransh to his cousins wedding at Goa as this would be the some of the last few days together.
Ransh first refuted sighting the distance and other flimsy reasons but on the D-day for travel Jose had packed all Ransh's baggage .
Ransh couldn't refute any longer and agreed to attending the wedding. All along the travel in buses and train Ransh had loads of memories cropping in his mind about Mia.
Mia had often spoken to him about her travels to Ransh that he would let his mind wander about her silly talks, her cheeky expressions and child like innocence while travelling .
It was Sunday and the men arrived tiredly after their long journey.
The wedding was to take place on Wednesday . Jose introduced the entire family to Ransh and cheekily commented "Heyy all this is Ransh the all-good boy.. very tough to find one like him! He is my best buddy! "
Ransh blushed the way the elders looked at his peach like complexion ,pinched his cheeks , pat him and smiled widely.
There were more talks and gossips and loads of food when suddenly the gentle sea breeze suddenly seemed to hit Ransh .He hit the sack with mixed emotions in him and felt like a couch potato on the soft quilted bed.
The next morning he decided to take a long stroll in the nearby beach and he once again felt that he was getting the feeling of deja-vu and felt someone close to him should be near somewhere.He brushed off the feeling and looked at the long coast line and admiring the tan on his hands.
He was enjoying his short change-over which was much different from his hectic work schedule and trying to flirt with nature for a change.
All of a sudden the gut feeling seemed to make him feel uncomfortable and made him cold inside.He turned in the opposite direction and walk when he suddenly spotted Mia. Mia now looked more angelic than ever. She wore a flesh tone sari that draped beautifully revealing her curves that were perfect to a tee. She was busily arranging her picnic basket with fellow girls and she hardly looked around .
The whole world seemed to come crashing on Ransh. He felt happy and sad at the same time. His whole heart pushed him to run and hug her while his mind reminded him that they had already split. He dint know if a smile would help but with all the thoughts playing randomly in his mind he went near Mia and warmly said "Hiiiii.. I .."
Mia was taken by surprise and responded coldly "Hi Ransh.. good to see yo.. so what's up ?"
Ransh replied "I'm here for my one of my friend's cousin's wedding.. The groom's name is Thomas. I'm here to attend his wedding . Its at ..."
Mia interrupted "At Se Cathedral! " and continued arranging the breakfast plates.
Ransh knew that Mia would hate to be told details if she knew them already. Ransh could sense her coldness and bid adieu and started walking when suddenly he jumped back and asked "Well how do you know that.. I mean are you attending the wedding too ?"
Mia looked deep inside his dark brown eyes and curt bluntly replied " Ah! I hope you know who the bride is too! "
Ransh looked puzzled and Mia realized that . She cut short the conversation by saying " Its my wedding that you will be attending tomorrow! See you there tomorrow " So saying Mia walked towards her friends leaving behind a shattered Ransh.
Ransh froze for moments... until...
